Jeralyn Adelman

With approximately 80% of civil judgments remaining unpaid or uncollected in the United States, a lawyer with knowledge, experience, and creativity can be instrumental in successfully collecting a judgment. With over 24 years of experience in litigation and post-judgment collections, Jeralyn Adelman continues to represent clients who want to be in the 20% that successfully collect their judgments.

Jeralyn is a seasoned trial attorney who has spent over two decades litigating and mediating commercial and consumer disputes. Through her illustrious career, Jeralyn has developed a unique combination of experience handling general and commercial disputes in all phases of the litigation process, including bench and jury trials. She polished her negotiating skills by becoming a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator. Using her persuasiveness and knowledge of the law to facilitate settlement of disputes, Jeralyn has the ability to maintain confidence, exercise sound judgment and discretion, and work collaboratively with others to foster effective working relationships with clients.

Beyond the litigation realm, Jeralyn frequently represents clients in post-judgment collection disputes. She regularly domesticates judgments, locates assets, and takes the most appropriate steps necessary to effect a recovery. Jeralyn has a full command of the various Federal and Florida laws that protect judgment creditors, and uses that breadth of knowledge to customize her approach to help clients achieve successful post-judgment collections. When the need to pursue post-judgment collections arises, Jeralyn’s clients could not be in better hands.
